You must learn how to open your scope on an oppenent and shoot and close scope.

As a sniper you should never kneel (NEVER) your just a sitting duck when your like that.

Learn to quickswitch or use right click (open and close scope quickly)

For quick switching go into: Options----->Then click advanced just make sure the check is in the box that says: Fast switch.

Or you can use what i prefer----->Options.....Multiplayer....Click advanced...make sure this option is UNCHECKED----> Deployed weapons will redeploy after firing a deployed shot. Now what this option does for you is it allows you to close your scope immediately after you shoot by right clicking. You wont be left out in the open waiting for you scope to auto close for you.

Many people die because they do not use these option

Martini give these a shot, 1 of these options will be right for you and WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER SNIPER.

If someone has no idea what I am talking about in this post then post and i will explain it better to you.

Here is the file path where your downloaded and extracted DoD:s maps should go:
1. Once you have downloaded the map file, you may need to extract or unzip the map. I suggest extracting it to your desktop so it is easy to find. You may need to have WinZIP or Win RAR installed on your computer to extract the "zipped" map file.
http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm

3. When the copy finishes your map has been installed and you should be able to join the server.

	4. Maps for scrims are most ALWAYS found in the "Maps and Downloads" section of the HBS Homepage.

With the fast and furious number of Steam updates recently out for DOD:s there have been some changes that may have affected your ability to download maps that you don't have from the server. To check your DoD:s settings do this:

	1. Launch DoD:S

	2. Select Options (on the left of the Main Menu)

	3. Select the Multiplayer tab.

	4. At the lower right of the new window, select "Allow all custom files from server" in the scroll-select window.

	5. Restart DoD:s

This should now allow any map downloads to ocuur for which you do not have the current server map. If the server you are joining has "Fast Downloads" enabled from a separate IP address your download will be pretty fast for the map, otherwise the download speed will be very slow.
